Meet and Greet

Boston M & G parties have been great (when we have them)

Meet and Greet events in Boston seem to be infrequent, but when they happen - Wow!

I know of only a couple thus far - the most recent in July of 2006.

Two challenges slow down their frequency:

An M&G takes a lot of work and maturity (not just arrangements and operations, but also keeping politics and personalities from becoming issues)

Also, in Boston, we have our beloved Puritan culture leftover influences (diminishing rapidly?)

Definition of Puritan:
*Someone who is afraid that, somewhere, someone else is having a good time.*
- H. L. Mencken

I think it was he who also said that a cynic is a person who, upon smelling flowers, looks around for a casket.

can't make everyone happy. ;)
While fun, they can be rid with all types of disasters, it is hours of work. Setting up screening, discussion groups, details, space, and a great cover story. I personally loved the online support group for Nara The Dog. She is so popular these days. Last story was good too, can you rememberit? If so then....
I vote you throw the next one.
