But this effort by Stern looks like a case of him saving his own ass.  If the FCC keeps bearing down on him the stuff that his listeners and viewers like about his show will be eliminated and he will end up being just another frumpy former star grabbing at the straws of his past glory.  Please do not take this to mean I feel that the FCC action is justified because I do not, I think that it is over reaction, the best way to control Stern is to not watch his tv show or listen to his radio program.  I have to admit that I have watched a Stern tv broadcast once, it was a night when I was flipping through channels after a hard day, I was intrigued by his reputation so I watched for a while, until I concluded that his act was lame, I have never watched since and do not intend to watch or listen to one of his programs at any point during the future.

I have to wonder if the Bush advisors will clue him in on this. Considering he is too arrogant to realize that his fight for re-election is in vain.

My question is, how will daddy and Barbara get Jr. out of his deep depression in November once the facts hit him?

Will they build a replica of The White House in Crawford so that Jr. will be able to continue his play acting?

We all know it would not be very difficult to trick him.

Perhaps that is why we do not see much of Cheney? Is VP Dick overseeing the replica project so the transition goes smoothly?
