Not that I would ever deter anyone from a PSE (porn star experience). However, if you are, in fact, a 1st timer, you might want to have an escort experience first,(just to get get an idea what a session is actually like, and if this hobby is for you) before shelling out a great deal of money for the PSE. There are many beautiful, freindly, and afforable escorts in the L.A. area, with excellent reviews and reputations. Just a thought. LR
Several newbies have thanked other Senior hobbyists and myself for recommending the right PSE for their 1st ever and all but 1 have thanked us; the one that didn't told me that he freak out, paid her and left. He had just graduated from High School (18).
My opinion, don't waste time in the break in process but go for the Gold.
Back in 1988 when Seka introduced me into the PSE world I was greateful to her for teaching me lots of things, which I still put in practice nowadays.

I was just remembering when I first started this hobby, I had NO idea what to expect, or even how to go about it (the proper phone calls, emails, what the session is like, etc). I found TER and the rest is (fun) history. However, my first appointment was still a complete unknown, and I was a understandably nervous. The provider was wonderful, and a great time was had by all. I just know that my few PSEs benefitted from the confidence and understanding that I had gained from prior expierence. the experience of hobbying is a very unique one, I was just suggesting if he were a little uneasy, he might want to gain his "sea legs" first. I believed it helped me. However, as you noted your first time was with SEKA and it benefitted you. I wasn't saying you were wrong I was just offering him some food for thought.
